update: I ordered the smaller size I ordered and strangely the skirt looked much better but still the same problems: the waist is too small, the top button is very difficult to open/ to close, and the buttons did not lay flat through clothing. In addition, I will be charged shipping costs for the return. I'm not happy with that. Previous Review: I ignored the reviews I read as they said the material was too hard. I thought it would be ok and softer after a few washes. That wasn't the problem at all. The drop was too small - my hardest part was unbuttoning the top button and of course buttoning it back up after I put it on. It has an elastic strap on the back and it wasn't comfortable enough for me. I have neither a big nor a small waist. In the past, the buttons were sewn on in the wrong place, so the skirt didn't lie flat and was therefore very unflattering. Also, it had the A-line shape that I usually love, but it was too A-line and the material wasn't soft enough to accommodate. I would not recommend this skirt - and would certainly believe the reviews here because I didn't!
