Forged steel tool with welded drive nut. Seems well made and I easily removed the "stuck" oil filter housing. However, the tool seems a bit oversized to me and the operator must hold the cup securely over the filter housing or it may slip and damage the housing flanges. A slightly snugger (and therefore more secure) fit would have made this a four star rating.
