Review on 🧅 Hutzler Onion Saver - Classic Yellow by Mario Anderson

I ordered 2 of them, the lids of both are so tight that they can hardly be used. I've tried releasing the lids with rubber grips, silicone grips, etc., but since the connection between the two halves isn't a spiral twist, it's a groove and lock, the tabs on the lid fit into the slot on the underside, and are machined so that they are so tight that once fitted, it takes more force than is reasonable to open them. I tried turning the tabs at the top into different slots at the bottom, thinking there was a pattern to follow, but that didn't give the best result. I have strong hands, I use grip enhancers for work every day; The problem with sticky lids isn't that my hands aren't strong enough to twist the halves. I have a lime holder with a clear lid, it's a few years old, and the lid is a spiral twist, not a slot lock. The transparent lid model is about twice the price of this one, but it's worth it.
