I didn’t want to buy an Apple Watch smart watch, but as you know, if you don’t try, you won’t appreciate it. With the release of the Apple Watch S4, I decided to buy and did not regret it. Apple positions this device as a "device for voice and data transmission" and rightly so. Time is not the main function of this gadget. First of all, it is a motivator for playing sports and controlling your mobility, and therefore health. Operating experience shows that I began to communicate less with the phone, because Apple Watch took over some of the functions. View notifications, music, control calls, pay with Apple Pay, all this can now be done with Apple Watch. Sometimes you just forget which pocket your phone is in. Series 4 has two heart rate sensors - on the back of the case and in the Digital Crown. The first monitors the pulse constantly, the second is more accurate - only if you put your finger on the wheel with the electrode built in for 30 seconds. The system can even build a simple electrocardiogram, from which it will be approximately clear what is wrong with the heart. The ECG can be printed or sent as a PDF to the doctor. Unfortunately, this function does not work in our country yet, because the watch must be certified by the Ministry of Health, but it has not yet passed. In the USA, by the way, Apple Watch Series 4 is officially certified as a medical device. And yes, of course, these are not expensive Swiss watches that are akin to jewelry, and can be kept in the family for several generations. Probably Apple understood this once they discontinued the release of the Edition series.
