I've tried all kinds of shredded memory foam that Revain has been selling for at least two years. I use it to make pillows for my family and when they come to visit they all want to take the pillow home. Then I find actual memory foam chopped up into fairly small pieces. Most of the other products I've tried try to avoid any complaints of "gassing" or smell. Here's a tip: if there are no exhaust fumes, this is ordinary foam. Any true memory foam will have an initial chemical odor or is not actually memory foam. Tempurpedic was the first company to release memory foam to the general public - you don't get that fluffy, springy "memory" without the chemical smell. Just let the product air out for as long as you can smell it - it will eventually go away. However, the smell is minimal - still a little, but not much due to the shredded memory foam. BUT, when the foam is squeezed in the hand, it flattens out and cracks very slowly, just like memory foam should. I just made an incredibly beautiful and heavyweight semi-flexible loose pillow to sleep with. I buy zip ties, fill them in, zip them up, and put a pillowcase over them. Suggestion - use "bamboo" liners with zipper, to allow the foam to stretch as needed. For only $12, you can make yourself a $50, $60, or more pillow for pennies on the dollar. IF you are using Workingfish shredded memory foam. I used another brand that worked very well. I ordered it again and got nothing but large chunks of plain foam.
