Review on πŸŽ‹ Portable Bamboo Lap Desk Tray for Home Office - Oversized Lap Desk for Up to 17.3” Laptops by Dustin Barry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid and comfortable build, although the phone and stylus slots don't work very well.

The padding is strong and comfortable and the stand that allows you to put the surface at an angle on your knees works a lot better than I thought. When unfolded, it is held by two rubber bands on the buttons, a very comfortable design. I also like that it has a carrying strap and the elastic in the top corner is useful for storing papers and small items. The only issue with this portable desk is the lack of a built-in phone and stylus stand. They are not tilted backwards and are only about an inch deep. Taken together, this means that when a phone or tablet is inserted into the slot, it tends to lean forward rather than at an angle where it can be seen. There's also a round hole for the pen, like in an inkwell, but it's no deeper and can't hold the pen upright at all. This isn't really a problem and deeper indentations would be problematic for padding, but a corner vent would be an improvement.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
