Review on Safavieh American Homes Collection Gomez Dark Cherry Corner Table: Stylish and Functional Furniture for Your Home by John Patterson

I had high expectations based on other reviews and decided to order but was a bit disappointed. Pros: Nice little corner table, pretty dark cherry color, easy to assemble. Cons: Unboxing was a mess, be prepared for small bits of foam to get in! A few small scratches - but the dark wood furniture marker can easily be touched up. The main disappointment is a very noticeable large black bar right on the surface/top of the table. It's like a thick, long line of black magic pen that won't come off despite gentle attempts at cleaning. It's hard to ignore and amazing that it passed quality control. Finding a decorative element/light that strategically covers it has become a challenge. As there were many issues with the packaging, I will not repackage it for a return. It could have been a perfect piece without an annoying defect at the very top.
