Surprised how cool it is! I looked at a couple of identical ones but without the remote and was glad I got a remote. It's pretty damn bright by default, but I can dim it with the remote to give off soft light rather than practically daylight. And there are many color options with remote control. The lightweight bottom comes out fairly easily when you step on the dinosaur and push the air out, but it's easy to put back on. If it works, when my kid is older we could even drop the dinosaur part and use the light on its own - it's like a plastic puck - just fine on its own. But so far the dinosaur is great. It's soft and cute and my 2 year old squeezes it easily and enjoys it.
