Advantages: nice design and nice color. I liked the tuck in detail, the sizing was good. It feels 1/4 inch thick at best and has no density. So basically it's loose fibers and air. In fact, there is NO quilted area in the main part of the blanket. Just a few tiny stitches at the foot of the duvet (coincidentally that's also the only spot that seems to have a batting and not the part that covers you. I have a feeling this is a common cheating practice with duvets) This won't provide enough warmth in cold weather I don't see how this could even hold up to a wash. There's nothing holding a fragile batting in place lest it tear or clump in one spot, even with a gentle, no-swirl wash.
