I had an unusual battery charge/discharge on my Samsung Galaxy s5. I bought a new battery and the situation improved somewhat, but after a few days it started to get worse. I was willing to fund a new phone even though I didn't want the extra expense. I'm also very happy with my current phone. A tech neighbor advised me to replace the charger before buying a new phone. I followed the advice and the charger worked. My phone is charging normally again. The cost of this charger was worth the risk. It saved me from buying a new phone! Although it does not come in the original packaging that the seller provided in the description, it appears to be genuine.
