I purchased these shoes (in black patent leather) for a job interview. I also purchased a designer brand at almost 3x's the cost for comparison. These shoes were much more comfortable and were not as tight in the toe as the designer brand. As a lot of women know, it is important to break in a new pair of high heels before wearing them to an event but I was able to wear them the entire day, on the first day of wearing them, without any pain. I will definitely buy them in other colors. In regards to sizing, I usually wear a 7.5 but I purchased an 8 and they fit great. I think the 7.5 would have been a smidgen too tight.
