First of all, this lamp can be powered by a standard 100W incandescent lamp, which is extremely rare these days. Typically, devices these days can only handle 60W if you're lucky, and 40W limits are becoming the new normal. The 40w light fixture is just a toy in my bathroom as I need bright light due to my diabetes. This lamp has two bulbs of 100W each, which provide sufficient light. I brought two of these lights so I can have one of these lights over each of the two sinks in my new bathroom. The bracket is well made of high quality steel which is NOT paper thin. The design of this lamp is very well thought out. The lampshades are thick glass, not the agonizingly thin, brittle Chinese scrap glass sold today. The metal is carefully crafted so there are no uneven cutting edges that you could cut yourself on. The lamp can be easily installed without much effort. Installing this light was so easy I didn't need any instructions. The two-flame lamp is the most expensive because one bulb is usually not enough and the three-flame variant is probably too powerful for most applications. The dual light version is more expensive because; this is the best seller. Hey, capitalism in action. All in all, this is the best light fixture for a basement, man cave, bathroom, bedroom or hallway. Beautiful linen glass shades with clear accents at the top. The glass has some odd imperfections that only add to the unique amazing nature of the lights. The electrical wires are good and thick. I can't find any faults with this flashlight, which is why it gets 5 stars from me. I would buy this light again in a heartbeat as its quality is a refreshing change from the inferior lights I usually see.
