Tip unscrews and pops out easily. It's very small and hard to find. I'm disappointed it won't stay for the price. It's very cute and fits perfectly. To update. The metal holding the gem broke and I didn't notice it for 3 days (I kept noticing that it was sticking to my clothes but I didn't pay attention). My piercing got infected. I went back to my original piercing from the studio I was pierced with and there were no problems. Do not buy.
