inaccurate adjustment
The neck size guide is inaccurate. I adjusted them to fit my neck size, 16 1/2 inches, and I spent 15 minutes tying a bow and thought I was going crazy. I then compare to one of my own, the length is about 2cm longer than my own tie. Luckily I can do the conversion and now they fit me. Another point is that polyester is much more difficult to tie than silk. Take care of yourself, spend extra money on a silk bow tie.
