This is my third natural grip razor and I love it - probably the best yet. The first was a wooden handle straight razor that was chipping paint and just didn't look good and never got a close enough shave for me. The second was with a bamboo handle, almost the same as this one - that's the holder. This olive wood pen looks very nice and I don't have to worry about the paint chipping. Since they're made of wood, I personally wouldn't take them in the shower to shave, just in the sink. The shave is on the initial close side, but close enough for me to hold on to. Definitely a good razor for beginners. I also love that they include an Astra blade - I'd rather have 1 Astra than 5 cheap unnamed blades. The amazing thing about this razor and my bamboo razor is how well they hold up - far better than many metal razors I have and it has no dimples or knurls. Overall I am happy with this razor and will find a place for it in my rotation.
