I give this scarf 4 stars mainly because it pills. After checking the scarf, I looked down and noticed that my black cotton shirt had a lot of white down. I'm not used to my scarves falling off as much or not at all. I also noticed that some of the lint got into my mouth and this may have happened when I used a borrowed roller to remove the lint and it started flying all over the place. It might get better with time, but that's my first reaction. It's worth noting that the instructions state that you must wash it by hand. I haven't washed it yet and I hope the hair fall will stop after washing. Otherwise a good scarf for the price. It is 100% acrylic made in Germany. The denim blue color is attractive and can be worn with different styles. This is a great length and will definitely keep you warm. It's good for the fall and winter months. This is a soft scarf but not as soft as cashmere or flannel. Overall this is a good scarf but be aware that it sheds and there are softer materials. I have provided some photos of the Mauser as well as an overall view (which is very attractive).
