Over the years, many beard products have led to the realization that there is no one beard product for every occasion and season. I can't say there is anything wrong with this beard product. What is that? Very soft, applies as easily as beard oil. For aesthetic reasons, I recommend applying smaller amounts several times a day, intended for 1 or 2 intensive applications. Medium shine. feels great on skin, hands, elbows, face etc. The smell is exactly the same as stated on the back of the tin, it says orange, clove, that's the smell, no secret. The scent is a little stronger than some and I've found that like all brands, before applying, you let the can sit for a few minutes, massage in with your hands and then apply rather than just patting your upper lip and chin. Rinsing with hot water will refresh your beard lightly enough for use over the following days. What it isn't - It's not a balm that lasts all day, it's soft as butter, it doesn't last long, the scent can be stronger than you want in the morning. Extensions can start to look greasy after 3 uses. I would say this is the best balm for cool weather, in the heat you will lose shape faster with this material than with a thicker style. I personally love the smell and recommend this for those who want a more natural, less cluttered beard look. I think it will be my favorite balm for the holiday season this year. However, it doesn't replace anything I have in my current arsenal, but I'll probably be using this jar through the end of November, although I have 6 other jars that I like as well. It's not a good business outfit and not a balm for the whole day unless your beard is very short.
