I bought the Flip Mino camcorder because I thought it was the perfect size for my purpose of filming my grandchildren when they grow up. In order to watch the video clips I made, I wanted to put them on a DVD that I could play on my DVD player instead of my computer, which was updated or otherwise changed every few years. I found that very difficult. The only way I've found to do this is to upload video clips to Flip for a fee of around $20. I'm willing to pay for it. But with my old camcorder, I could make permanent copies myself, which was MUCH more convenient. I think Flip will discontinue this service in March. So I don't know what I'm going to do with the videos I'm going to make next year. I would NOT recommend Flip Mino due to this difficulty. You need good video clips for that, but then what do you do with them if you want to keep them. Look after me Maybe if you are a geek you can solve this problem. But I think the product should have a wider range for its customers.
