Review on Rearview Install Bracket 2017 2021 Polaris by Paul Randall

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The wide and large size offers a good field of vision.

The large size of this mirror offers a good distance vision. The higher elevation is useful when you need more visibility up and down as well. I installed it on the excavator with double sided thick transparent tape. I had to cut off the rear plastic bracket to make the back flat so it could stick to the excavator cab front window. discover some things that are useful to know. Pressing on the front of the mirror may cause indentations in the mirror, distorting the rear view image. Be careful not to push the mirror from the front. It's not made of a hard glass surface that will hold its shape. It can deform. My review unit had a fingerprint under the reflective portion of the mirror on the left edge. It cannot be washed away or removed. It's not too noticeable, but once you know it's there it's easy to spot. This leads to some quality control problems. The 2 brackets supplied are metal and seem perfectly adequate to hold this lightweight and mostly plastic mirror in place. It's reasonably priced and as such looks like decent quality. Just want to keep in mind that it's not the most durable mirror and if it can get hit by a random rock, a helmet, something you're carrying or loading in your car, or anything else that could damage it. 3 stars.
