I used this drive to replace the 128GB drive in my MacBook Air (Early 2015) because I was tired of deciding which files to delete so I could upgrade could perform. I didn't think it would work at first because I couldn't initialize the hard drive when I put it in the external enclosure. However, I contacted the seller to see if they have any support information. The replies from them were generally quick and they walked me through the steps to initialize a new drive at this point (HINT, this involves installing a fresh copy of macOS from a USB installer). Your feedback was timely and helpful, and it's a great price for quadrupling the storage space on my Mac.
