Review on Seenda Reading Adjustable Brightness Temperature by Lindsay Law

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I never knew I needed it, but obviously I need it!

So I never thought of needing a light bar over my computer monitor. After all, the monitor emits its own light. But the lightbar made more of an impact than I expected, and indeed, within hours of using it at work, two other people immediately noticed the difference and ordered them for themselves. I work in the ER and share a computer monitor with several other doctors. Especially on the night shift, it's great to be able to turn off all the other lights in the room but have some extra light over the desk to read an EKG or write notes. Each doctor had their own preference for color and lighting conditions that could be easily adjusted. At first I thought the remote was probably overkill, but as one of the doctors noted, having a remote instead of buttons on the light itself meant there was less chance of accidentally pressing the bar. The lighting and remote control materials look and feel absolutely superb. The light doesn't emit any noise and the only downside is that the brighter illumination of the screen allows us to see all the excess dust on the screen that needs to be wiped off. :) There are only a few improvements I could suggest for a future version of this flashlight, although that won't stop me from buying it now. 1) I had trouble taking the flashlight out of the box as there were no cut outs. in plastic to pick it up and had to drop it upside down to get it out. 2) The light is attached to the counterweight with a magnet, which works great. However, the counterweight has a rounded bottom. It seems to me that the counterweight could have a flat bottom so I can mount the light over a sewing machine or other flat surface and it would be great if I could fix the angle of the light with the base attached to the flat surface. .3) The light and remote control are powered by Type-C cable. There is only one cable in the package, so when you need to charge the remote control, you need to turn off the light to turn on the remote control. So it would be nice to have a dual charging cable to charge the remote when needed. However, the remote comes with a few charges and I don't yet know how often it needs to be charged, so maybe it's not as much of an issue as I think. All in all, I highly recommend this. Thing!
