I recommend it on mattress pads
Literally almost perfect. It's firm enough, safe, but soft enough that I can finally let my baby sleep in the cradle after trying all sorts of tricks. My only "complaint" is that it's about 1.5 inches from a perfect fit. I just made a slit at the foot of her bed. Otherwise, this little foam pad is perfect. It's just a foam pad, though, so get a waterproof case to protect it from accidental spills.
