This is a good use of counter/table space when serving fries and sauces. There are anti-patterns. If you have different types of chips, submerged gut will be associated with more than one type of chip. Pairing this in a folded position suggests its use by hungry people. We didn't find the floor rough enough to scratch our meters. (Maybe a reviewer's product error?). Will he capsize? Probably not, although it's worth noting that chips are lighter than a full dipping bowl. I'm not sure if the metal part will rust over time, but the bowls themselves are perfectly acceptable.
