I purchased this product after looking at similar products and reading other reviews and prices. I chose this one. And turned brown. I was looking for something to keep my elderly 13 year old 50lb pig warm as she is prone to colds and didn't want to turn on the heat when we were out. Even if we take her to certain events in our van, she needs some warmth. The product does what it is supposed to do, it reflects body heat. I put it on her dog's bed and along with her other blankets she's snuggled up in, it gives her that extra warmth I was looking for. (It probably won't help a sick animal that doesn't generate heat.) I'll say she's been warmer than me in some outdoor activities using it. I'm very happy with it and am considering getting a bigger one. My friend has also seen the results and is studying them for her dogs.
