Anyone who wears matte lipsticks or lipsticks knows that most matte lipsticks tend to dry out a bit. This is no exception. I always use a moisturizer on my lips for about 15-20 minutes before applying a matte color. It actually helps a lot. I also use a setting spray afterwards. One item included in this set is a clear glitter. It also helps in the moisturizing aspect. Be sure to wait at least a minute between color and clear shine. Besides, less is more. Just a bit of clear coat is enough to get a pretty look. The set itself is very good overall. Comes with 7 colors and clear glitter. Most when the colors are great. There are a few that don't really suit my skin tone, which is completely normal with sets. I was able to mix the ones that didn't work for me with the ones that worked for me and got some amazing new colors. I would love to see more color sets and I also wish they offered a clear gloss alone as a 2 pack or included 2 clear glosses in the set itself.
