Perfect! for bedding

I've added a whole bunch of pictures in the hope that this review will help someone else decide if they want to buy because it was difficult for me to make a decision hold true. Stupid I know! But this is the first time I've ordered a bed skirt like this. Also, due to the lack of reviews, I wasn't sure whether to order or not. But I guess it's safe to say I'm SO happy with this bed skirt! I will never buy a "REAL" skirt again! Although it was a little wrinkled (straight out of the box) but that's to be expected. Just toss it in the dryer for 10-15 minutes on medium/high heat and it quickly fixed that minor issue! I put it on my bed in less than a minute and didn't even have to take anything off the bed! I simply pulled the elastics across the top of the bed (between the mattress/spring and the headboard), then pulled it down to the corners like a sheet (but much easier) and the queen/queen size fitted my double bed perfectly. I should note that I wanted a shorter skirt and a "white" or "beige" skirt, NOT "white" due to cat/dog hair build-up and foot traffic, so I ordered a 14", so it doesn't drag along the floor and collect dust. I could probably go with 15 or 16" and if it was too long I would just tighten it a bit but this works well. It's very easy to adjust the length to the floor to adjust - just pull up or down. It doesn't "hang" much at all - if you can see in one of the photos it had a "little" sag down the middle - not even an inch. went with more length . But it's good nonetheless. The 14" still covers up our under bed storage space. If you prefer it bigger you can pull it out or order clothespins, but that's not necessary with my bed. I wanted a neutral color to go with my white, cream, taupe color scheme and I'm quite picky about colors - see photos of me comparing the shade of the bed skirt to my ultra white duvet, off-white sheets, off-white and light gray . /dawn plaid/euro cushion. Everything perfectly matched - fotkal in different lighting conditions - with and without flash. I would describe the skirt as more of a light beige/taupe, especially in the darker lighting, but could also describe it as a darker offwhite/cream in the light or with flash - looks great either way (I had a ceiling light above). along with natural light from the window next to the bed, then I took some flash photos) It's kind of a mix of all the colors on my duvet and they go well together so it will probably go with everything. I REALLY didn't want the beige or tan to be too yellow and this was the closest thing to what I was looking for and it's perfect. I have a few shades of gray in my bedroom: the curtains are patterned light gray and the walls are more of a very pale greenish gray, like Beach House, as well as brownish beige, like carpets, bedspreads, etc. I think the color I use for the bed surround ordered, said "beige" delivery within two days. I hope this review helps other undecided/picky decorators/housewives like me LOL! Thanks again ;-)
