If you hesitate, don't do it! It was exactly what I was looking for. I was afraid they would be too thin and my toddler would easily pierce them, but they are actually thicker than the picture shows. Very durable! It's still good for summer though. I'm also always looking for socks with the highest cotton percentage and I love it! And the non-slip strips are not too thick as I was always afraid that they would be uncomfortable in shoes. They also hold onto his burly knuckles very well and almost never come loose unless he tugs on them for a while. All round perfect sock, I will definitely buy more when my son grows up.
