For years I have struggled to fit Christmas window candles in sash and double window. I've used straps, single suction cup mounts, tape, etc. They all worked to some extent but I tried these holders this year and they are without a doubt the best holders I have ever used. Regardless of the width of the window sill, the type of window, the desired placement (e.g. on the window sill or on the window pane itself), they will work. The dual suction cups are secure and the hole that secures the top of the "candle" is large enough to fit through the window glass. one candle without removing the bulb.
