I have had many watches and usually carry at least ten watches with good batteries rotating to match my outfit. I've had cheap jewelry watches and designer name watches. They came in fancy watch cases, they came in plastic bags. I can honestly say I've had many hours over the years. BUT, there is something about this quartz watch from SURVAN WatchDesigner that I couldn't understand. I have read everything I have written about this watch and what other people have written and nowhere does this answer my specific question. But first let me say this watch is beautiful. It has a thin brown genuine leather strap with a buckle closure. The facet is a polyhedral rhombus, meaning all right angles mimic diamonds with straight edges and sharp corners. In other words, it's a crystal with facets that catch the light! I looked at the explanation so I just had to use it. All metal is gold in color and the dial is brown. These are beautiful watches. They were packaged in an elegant, hinged wooden case with an instruction sheet for the care and maintenance of the watch. The box is very well finished and that makes the whole thing a very good gift. But the big mystery is what was packed about the box. The wooden box came in a cardboard box. When I unpacked it, there was a canvas bag tied with string over the wooden box. Very nice case, well finished and with the SURVAN WatchDesigner label. The watch box is too big to fit in a bag, and there is no point in putting the watch in a bag separately instead of using a beautiful gift box. This allowed the wooden case to fit snugly in the box, but I'm completely flabbergasted, as are everyone I've asked. I want my camera to work so I can post photos.
