Review on GE Lighting Daylight Dimmable LED by Justin Hollins

Over the years I have examined many different LED lamps with my spectroscope, and I mean A LOT. These bulbs are the closest thing to sunlight I've ever encountered, unbelievable. If you take 2 exactly the same table lamps and put this lightbulb in one and in every other lightbulb you find the same brightness and color temperature in the other and try to move your hand from the light of this lightbulb to the light of the other so if you compare them side by side, you will find that your skin tones look much lighter under this lamp compared to another. Most lamps produce painful skin tones compared to this lamp. Not just skin tones, all colors appear more natural and vibrant, and whites are whiter under this lamp than most lamps. This is because this lamp has a fuller spectrum of colors than most lamps and I can see this in my spectroscope. I have and recommend the daylight version of these lamps because they really lift your spirits, especially during the dark winter months when we don't get much daylight. If you're used to warm white bulbs this might seem strange at first, but it just takes some getting used to. I tried going back to warm white incandescent bulbs after getting used to fluorescent lighting and it was just as weird as when I first started trying to get used to fluorescent lighting. So it's just a matter of getting used to it. Remember that with fluorescent lighting you usually need to light the room brighter than with warm white incandescent bulbs, because fluorescent lighting can make your room look dull if it's not bright enough. So if you're trying out fluorescent lightbulbs and the room is looking drab, you probably need a new fixture that can hold more bulbs to brighten the room. But once the brightness is good enough and you get used to it, daylight bulbs feel much better than warm white light. And that makes sense, because fluorescent lighting is more like daylight. Warm white bulbs are too yellow compared to real daylight, they make you want to sleep. By the way, I didn't get anything for this review. The lamps are just amazing, I had to write a review.
