I used this one for your bird hammock pet rats. They love it - and the size is just right for two rats. I don't know about three, it might seem a bit tight! The construction is very solid and I had no chewing problems. Even if my rats chewed through the material (2 months passed and they didn't try to chew it), they wouldn't be able to chew through the hanging metal chains. In the second photo you can see how versatile the hanging brackets are. . The hammock can be adjusted to hang from any crossbar. I only lowered the wear resistance rating because the color faded a bit after a machine wash. Not a deal breaker, just FYI.
