Review on Lazy Pet Plush Single Condo by Candace Parker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too small for most adult cats. .

Lazy Plush Cat Condominium is best for kittens, not large adult cats. When assembled it is approximately 34 cm tall and 13 1/2 inches in diameter. It's a great size for kittens, but for owners of big bouncy cats like me, it's too small for them to curl up in. The fur covering the condo is soft and plush, has a very short pile and doesn't look like it will fall off (I need more fur in my house for example). Plush fur covers the nearly 1 inch thick plywood base, the roof also looks like plywood but isn't as thick. The walls of the apartment are lined with fur-covered cardboard, the interior walls are lined with brown felt. To prevent the roof from collapsing there are 3 internal battens that support the roof. The assembly of the apartment requires no tools, it is held in place with Velcro. I was initially disappointed with the velcro concept holding this product together, but it is surprisingly strong. The assembly instructions provided were for a duplex apartment, but I managed to assemble it without it. There are 3 of them - floor, wall, roof. The Velcro attaches the walls to the floor and roof and also holds the cardboard wall together. Overall I think this is a 3 star product but 2 stars from me due to its limited uses in my cat household. I would return this item but the shipping cost would be almost equal to the purchase price.
