The seller shipped very quickly, I received it a day earlier than expected. Very nice as my old mattress topper no longer heats the bed. Installation was easy. The skirt fits easily and snugly to the bottom of the mattress. The packaging was very tight, users should be careful when opening the packaging. The mattress cover has 2 functions. The first is the controller. It's easy to use and has few features (fewer points of failure, I've read reviews of other products with fancier controllers that melted). Preheating is not necessary, but it is not needed either, since the product heats up quickly. Five shots were more than enough. The highest setting was very warm, so I used the lower setting. One issue I have with the controller is the short cable length. I have to reach almost to the floor to grab it because it's too short to sling around the bed or put on the nightstand. 1 star deduction for this problem. It needs at least 12-18 inches more to be more functional. The pillow itself is very comfortable. It has a fluffy soft finish that kept me warm after turning the device off. The wires are very inconspicuous, I didn't feel them. The bed warmed up quickly. I deducted another star because there are no heat zones. The bottom of the bed and the torso require more heat than the head. For the sake of price and simplicity, I'm willing to put up with the product's shortcomings. I hope that when the manufacturer develops the next generation of this mattress pad, the length of the control cable and the need for zones will be taken into account.
