Motorcycle Use: Metal adapter doesn't provide enough friction to hold camera in place

Looks solid but time will tell. Using the mount on my M/C and the 1/4-20 metal adapter doesn't have enough friction to hold the cams in place (Sony FDR3000) no matter how hard you turn the thumbscrew these mounts are probably better suited for fixed/ fixed applications
