After buying several packs/sacks of cotton from different sources at different prices, it dawned on me that I was being ripped off. I mean it's cotton. Sure, it has to be unbleached organic cotton, but it's still cotton. Here I've paid $5 or more for 10 tiny cotton pads, or paid for the luxury of having aiguillette on the cotton, or having to clean, roll, and process the cotton. Then I found this stuff. You get loads of this, it's basically a long fluffy rope so there are no layers to take off and you just cut off what you need and voila. I actually halve what I cut lengthwise so there are two wicks from each cut. It works just as well as any other cotton I've tried, and it's very cheap, so when I feel like changing the wick every day, it's still way more economical than any other organic cotton I've tried have.
