Review on Wellness Complete Natural Food 30 Pound Dogs by Michaela Hughes

My picky German Shepherd loves this food. When we first got him he was fed a scientific diet which I maintained until he was past the puppy stage. I put him on the adult scientific diet and he didn't eat it. I had to add wet food to cover the dry food so he could taste it. So I researched the products and the Wellness brand came highly recommended for large breeds. I appreciated the quick responses to my questions from the company so I decided to give it a try. I started on Wellness Core Large Breed (grain free), my German Shepherd has a sensitive stomach and I thought grain free would help but he didn't care so I switched to this one and he loves it - no stomach issues either. He's particularly interested when I open a new bag - he likes to stick his head in the container and eat right out of it. Although the bag has a zipper, it's difficult to close it completely. I don't have to feed as much either - he seems to get full with less food. His coat was much softer and shinier after the first two weeks. My only complaint is that there is a lot of crumbs at the bottom of the food container, but that might just be the scoop I use and that 30lb is the largest pack size - I use about one bag a month for my 85lb. bundle of joy. This meal is expensive but my friend is worth every penny! I think it also depends on what your dog likes.
