They prevent noise when small objects slide on plastic and look sharp. However, everything is too small, so it sucks to use them. I often take a large one to work as it sticks to my keys. They come with small pieces of tape but I didn't want to tape them because I don't like them. I photographed the storage space, cup holder, and coin holder to show how small they are. As you can see, they don't line up with the holders so much as they sit in the middle. This leaves space at the edge for collecting typical car waste. They're only $12 and I'll be using them until I find a better alternative, so don't bother returning them. If you're looking for something functional, this isn't for you. If you want to show your car, then they look quite nice.
