Ulnar tunnel syndrome (a pinched ulnar nerve causing numbness in the fingers) really does require an orthosis. This bandage keeps my elbow straight. I wear it about half of every night. Without the corset my fingers would go to sleep and the nerve pain would eventually wake me up. The support appears to be of good construction except for one detail. The aluminum stiffeners (at least the ones that cut through his pocket) look like nothing has been done to round out their edges and corners. Used every night, the stiffener cut through his pocket in two weeks. I try to close the open end with a ratchet strap. Otherwise, you may scratch yourself or tear the sheets if they get caught on the edges.
