I ordered these zip ties to attach solar lights to my gazebo as none of the zip ties I had on hand were long enough. The news is that some of them broke when hand tightened. Usually the breaking point was a small tooth that fit into the notches in the screed. It's clearly made of weak and brittle plastic. Another time, the body of the tie itself burst in my hands. I'm just a regular guy. I don't break zip ties with my fingers, at least not with normal ones. Of course, if your project only needs about 50 cable ties, given the many setbacks, 100 from this pack will do. Do yourself a favor and buy real cable ties at your local hardware store.
