Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Headphones and Knox Gear Mount Bundle by Adam Chyliski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

The sound quality is really decent, but it does not blow your mind in any way. In general, there is nothing that can be faulted about it. The utilization of LDAC, the creation of lossless compositions, and the conducting of experiments with the equalizer did not help (I promptly turned the bass up). Probably, these are my own personal issues, but for some reason I anticipated that headphones costing $300 would have some sort of "wow effect." But to be honest, these are the best headphones I've ever owned; the sound is clear, the bass is strong, and it's not muddy at all. I'd never had anything else quite like it before. In summary, I was able to acquire what I wanted, which was a pair of noise-cancelling headphones of a great quality that I could use for long travels. The effectiveness of active noise cancellation is demonstrated by the almost total elimination of low frequencies and the deterioration of high frequencies. Even if you sit right next to it, the noise filter and compressor in the aquarium will not be audible. A close person may be heard speaking, however their sound is clearly muffled due to the proximity of the wall. The sound of the individual snoring in the room next to you will no longer be heard. Almost immediately after purchasing the headphones, a peculiar sensation was experienced. Although there was apparently no sound, there was a sensation of something pressing on the ears. After that, I adjusted the settings for the headphones within the software, and the sensation went away. I gave wearing headphones to bed a shot, but it's just too unpleasant. Having said that, I did discover a posture in which I could easily nod off. If you also put on some white noise, then having no puncher won't be such a bad thing. This could come in handy when traveling or if the neighbors decide to have an event. The headphones initially broadcasted in Chinese for some unknown reason; after installing the Sony software on my phone, I connected them and changed the language to English. The software contains a large number of configuration options, and the first thing you should do is disable the feature that disables the noise reduction if it detects the sound of a voice (many false positives). It was necessary for me to enable LDAC in the Android developer settings in order to obtain the highest possible quality. The contrast between Windows and its SBC is obvious and noticeable. After that, the only remaining option is to either download the tune in lossless quality or subscribe to a music streaming service that offers it (which I did). It seems to be comfortable, but for my big head, it's a bit missing; I want a margin in the adjustments. I didn't really enjoy the bow; although it seems to be comfortable, it's a touch lacking. Even if the ear cushions are pleasant, your ears will feel them, and you won't be able to walk in them for the entire day.

Pros
  • Effective reduction of ambient noise, high levels of independent operation, and satisfactory sound quality
Cons
  • I had slightly higher expectations for the headphones.
