As an avid traveler to many parts of the world, off the beaten track, I can assure you that this is the best bag I have ever bought. It's so roomy when you need it. I packed at least 2 weeks of clothes in it including 2 pairs of shoes. He simply used 14 shirts, 3 pants, a pair of jeans, 14 boxers, 7 women's tights, flip flops, moccasins, sneakers, magazines, USB chargers, walkie-talkies, 5 shorts and toiletries. I had an old army five day pack and it easily outperformed it. Just make sure to roll everything up and pack tightly. I also used it for a lighter trip to the beach and it fit well, not bulky at all. Using well trimmed and fitted webbing minimizes the overall size. It has several compartments outside and 2 inside. MARVELOUS! A must for travelers.
