Bought this for my cat who loves to scratch the carpet but has an aversion to anything cat related. Her idea of entertainment is playing deathmatch with her people or scratching my pretty new carpet. Due to previous failures with cat scratching posts and the like, I was looking for something fairly inexpensive, yet appealing to those living indoors. . This cat apartment certainly met those criteria! Well, for humans. I received the item quickly and was probably more excited than the cat. I immediately started packing and the cat, slamming the empty box in disgust, watched. Assembly was easy - no need to take out the tool box, everything you need was included. I was able to set up the apartment quickly and was surprised at how durable and high quality it is. For that price I couldn't touch a cat apartment half the size in my area. The apartment was part of our four seasons room; it doesn't bother and isn't terribly ugly. The design is concise and not intrusive. I beat my cats to one of the upper floors; Her tail twitched, she looked slightly disturbed, sat long enough for me to take a picture of her, jumped off and immediately returned to her seat. :/Sometimes she likes to sit downstairs. She won't scratch him, she won't jump on him, she won't play inside him. Why would she do that when she has my carpet to scratch, a dog to jump and me to play with. :/ At least my new jewelry was cheap! ! And it is durable when I teach my dog how to use it.
