Review on SinoTrack ST 902 Vehicles Real Time Tracking by Carta Gutierrez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

2G only. Get the ST-902W model that uses 3G

Pretty good tracker but only uses 2G network. This resulted in blurry tracking when the vehicle was in the 2G dead zone. Or even places with a weak 2G signal, such as e.g. garages. It's frustrating that the location is disabled for several hours when it can't get a 2G signal. I use a SIM card and a $5 per month Speedtalk service. Good price but inconsistent 2G (Speedtalk uses T-Mobile's network but this device is limited to their 2G service). Upgrade to ST-902W which also uses Speedtalk/T-Mobile but with better signal. Customer service is surprisingly good. . I've emailed twice in the two years I've had the unit and they always fix what I need and get back to me within 12 hours. After using their location server app for a year, it expired and I had to renew it, which was free. They took care of it within hours of my email. Another time the login/password to enter the map application stopped working. Fixed too quickly with a quick reply.
