The top hooks are hanging down and no longer fit on the top edge of the door

Unfortunately, you shouldn't use the storage space for starch bottles next to the iron. The weight likely caused the metal to warp due to the original fixed clip at the top of the door. I hobble around and carefully close the door as it might break at any moment. Too many problems for a return. The iron worked fine. My large round ironing board legs fit with no problem (my initial concern). Would recommend stronger metal if available. You can fix it, but I'm no optimist.
