This is great for a lighter tablet (ipad mini, amazon kindle). We have an iPad Air 1st gen, and it can become a tiny bit unstable when traveling over rougher roads. Highway driving at constant speeds this thing is a champ though and it’s also worth mentioning that it can be moved closer so my 3 year old daughter has the ability to navigate on her own. Our previous mount which was a different brand, broke and we had switched to a velcro type mount which was great for just viewing when no interaction was needed on the iPad, however with a growing child you have growing demands. With the ability to swivel and move it closer, most of our needs are met. Overall my wife and i are pretty happy with this product and would likely recommend or repurchase.
