Not waterproof in my opinion.
I bought these at a good discount to do a Columbus Day hike for my 5 year old. It had rained the day before so the grass was wet. An hour after wearing them, his feet got wet along with the insoles of his boots. Decent for warmth but not 100% waterproof as advertised. He didn't play in puddles, but literally walked on wet grass.
- Very comfortable shoes! Works perfect for winter. My son used them as regular school shoes!
- The boots may not be strong enough to withstand heavy use by active children.
