Review on 🗄️ Rustic Brown Apothecary Wood Desk Drawer Set with 9 Drawers by Kate and Laurel by Amanda Harrell

I bought this for the tea bags and dried herbs we use to make tea. However, the drawers smell like the toxic smell of wood stain or formaldehyde. As if they stink in a small room. I definitely don't want to put my fresh loose herbs or tea bags in there. I let it air outside until after 8 hours there is no improvement. I also washed the boxes inside and out. If they still smell in the morning I can use them in the garage for nails and such. I am misled by the description that these "apothecary" boxes can be used for tea or medicine. Update: After leaving them in the sun for a month the smell seems to have gone, but when I brought them inside the smell of the toxic stain lingers.
