Worth the investment

I've been using this kit for about a year and have had some pretty specific feedback. All in all this is a good set for the money. There are a few cuts that reduce quality, but I don't see them as deal breaker. I don't use this kit every day and don't leave it set up. I disassemble it after each shoot and keep it in my bag. So far it has been about 12-15 times. Advantages: 1. Easy to set up. To be honest I can't remember if it came with instructions but if you need them well maybe you should study the lighting a bit first. 2. Racks are strong. Sturdy but not very heavy. I've never had them tip over because they were unbalanced or bumped into them.3. Better quality umbrellas than I expected. They're thin and small (33 inches), but that's not a problem either. 4. Good quality lamps, durable and color matched. Cons: 1. The ammo is plastic and the threads for the set screws that hold the umbrellas tend to come loose. It doesn't take long to rip off the plastic threads. 3. The wear rate seems to be a little higher. After a couple of times (5-8) I found the seams of the umbrellas stretched and the stems dented even with minimal pressure. If I had to do it all over again I would buy this kit without hesitation. This is a good value investment.
