Review on AIDA PROPOLIS 50 CALMING TONER by Michelle Collins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lather your nose or you'll love the foam toner idea; Fragrance Free

I really like the trend of these toners in foam dispensers. I had a chance to try a pair from AIDA (this Propolis 50 Calming and their Mugwort). Both are excellent and mild, but for this review I'll try to stick with just one propolis. Alternatively, a water base on a cotton pad or poured onto hands is fine too, but seems to be effective. way to achieve a good even distribution of the product over the face. One swipe is more than enough to cover your face and neck. Of course I somehow manage to accidentally get some foam up my nose, but that's not the product's fault. I'm just on autopilot, trying to stroke and massage that lovely, thick, seemingly nourishing toner and not paying attention. However, this toner has virtually no scent that I can detect. Unlike their mugwort, I don't think this one has PHA/exfoliation in it. Almost sure it's soothing with ceramides and panthenol. As I said, one click is enough. Light, slightly dense foam with good spreadability and absorbency. It glides on and melts without a weird mark or greasy, lingering film. Will not pill or peel when combined with other skin care products. No, I am not using it as an AM cleaner as suggested in the sales post. Instead, I wash my face no-frills (since it's a morning I don't need anything too extreme and I don't have to cleanse twice like I do in the evening). Then I take a pump of this AIDA Propolis and apply the foam to my face and neck. Blowing my nose because I'm kinda stuck in a nostril going about my other things (moisturizer and SPF). It seems to help increase moisture retention, but my combination ranges remain balanced (not too greasy or dry). I have very sensitive skin prone to rosacea and this hasn't caused me any problems; no inflammation, redness or breakouts. Based on my experience, assuming you are not sensitive to propolis or other bee products, this should work well for all users, including those with both oily and dry skin. In general I am satisfied with the quality, use and affordable price. point ($30 at the time of this review).
