To replace the third brake light on the Ford F-150. The original part has a defective foam padding that shrinks over time (already 6 years for me). You can tell they've tried to compensate for this on this part by making the gasket thicker, but that affects the fit a bit and causes it to not sit flush. You can make it work, but I recommend adding silicon insurance as the design itself is flawed. If you want to save money by not buying a genuine part, then this is a good option. Just note that the fit could be a bit better here. I recommend using some silicone around the edges in addition to the foam padding to create a good seal.
